Gold Rebounds Above $4,000, Silver Surges 4.67% on Tuesday as Short Covering Lifts Prices

According to Kitco NewsWire, spot gold rebounded to $4,057.60, up 1.26%, and silver rose to $58.92, up 4.67%, on Tuesday, as short covering lifted precious metals following last week's selloff. Gold's early trading range was $3,998.80 to $4,085.10, staying above the $4,000 support level and testing resistance near $4,064. Silver recovered from last week's lows, trading within the $56.00 to $59.37 range.
