Home Plus Secures 2 Trillion Won DIP Funding, Files Court Appeal on July 20

According to E-Daily on July 20, South Korean retailer Home Plus submitted an immediate appeal to Seoul Rehabilitation Court after securing 2 trillion won (approximately $1.5 billion) in emergency operating funds from Meritz Financial. The court is expected to rule on resuming the company's rehabilitation proceedings within one to two weeks. Home Plus aims to restart regular operations by August following approval of the funding execution and the lifting of the rehabilitation suspension order.
