Hong Kong Gold Clearing System Begins Trial Operations with 41 Market Participants on July 7

According to the Hong Kong Financial Services Bureau, Hong Kong's gold clearing and settlement system commenced trial operation on July 7, with the first settlement already completed. The trial launch is supported by 41 market participants, including 18 banks, 9 securities firms, 4 mining companies, 5 refineries, 4 jewelry merchants, and 1 technology company. The first batch of gold has been successfully deposited into designated warehouses.
