Hong Kong SFC Issues Revised Guidance on Leveraged Products, Enables Daily Leverage Adjustments Within 2x/-2x Limits

According to BlockBeats, on July 24, Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission issued revised guidance allowing leveraged and inverse products to adopt flexible leverage structures with daily adjustments within existing limits (2x for leveraged products, -2x for inverse products). Under this framework, product providers may lower target leverage multiples during periods of high trading volume to manage products more effectively. The new leverage multiples will be disclosed after market close each day, reinforcing that these are single-day products not intended for holding beyond one trading session.
