Hong Kong Stock Indexes Rise on July 20, Hang Seng Index Hits Above 25,000 with 2.36% Gain

According to ZhiTong Finance, Hong Kong's major stock indexes closed higher on July 20, with the Hang Seng Index gaining 2.36% or 580.81 points to 25,143.05, breaking above the 25,000 level. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 3.01% to 8,381.90 points, while the Hang Seng Tech Index climbed 2.79% to 4,752.15 points. Total trading volume reached 306.413 billion Hong Kong dollars. Tech stocks surged broadly, with Alibaba-W up 3.73% to 116.8 Hong Kong dollars. Energy stocks rallied significantly amid Middle East tensions, with China offshore oil rising 5.19% to 23.9 Hong Kong dollars.
