On July 17, the House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing titled "Building the Future of Finance: How the Clarity Act Unlocks Innovation," marking a key legislative moment for cryptocurrency regulation ahead of Congress's summer recess. Bitcoin price hovered near $64,500 on July 16, maintaining a recovery to three-week highs. BlackRock added $139 million in Bitcoin holdings, with iShares Bitcoin Trust now custodying over 733,000 BTC. A wallet inactive for eight years transferred 5,908 BTC, valued near $383 million, to a fresh address without engaging exchanges.

Ethereum is trading around $1,900 after reclaiming resistance levels, triggering over $30 million in short liquidations. Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $84 million in net inflows during the week ending July 11, breaking an eight-week streak of withdrawals. The ETH/BTC ratio has jumped more than 17 percent this week, with BlackRock's ETHA contributing to several of the strongest daily inflows.
