ICE Plans to Launch Futures Tied to Fed, ECB, BoE Rate Decisions; Launch Set for August 10

According to Jin10, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of NYSE, plans to launch new futures contracts linked to monetary policy decisions from the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank, and Bank of England, as well as U.S. natural gas inventory levels. Company executives revealed the contracts will allow investors to trade or hedge against policy meetings of the three major central banks and weekly natural gas storage data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Subject to regulatory approval, the products are scheduled to launch on August 10.
