Iran Threatens Full-Scale Military Response After U.S.-Iran Memorandum Collapses on July 17

According to Iranian military advisor Mohsen Rezaei, on July 17, Iran's military chief announced that the U.S.-Iran understanding memorandum has become null and void due to U.S. violation of terms. Rezaei stated that if the U.S. continues military strikes in the coming days, Iran's armed forces will escalate from the current "deterrence and retaliation" phase to "full-scale offense and destruction," making U.S. overseas bases and personnel direct targets.
