Iran Vows Retaliation for Supreme Leader's Death, Accuses U.S. of Pressing Oman on July 13

According to Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei, on July 13, Iran vowed retaliation for the deaths of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and all Iranians killed in U.S.-backed attacks, calling it a "fundamental principle and public demand." The ministry is pursuing justice through international legal mechanisms.

Baghaei accused the United States of pressuring Oman to prevent the establishment of a joint management mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz. He added that Iran will defend itself without hesitation, and any foreign territory used to attack Iran will be included in Iran's retaliatory strikes.
