Japanese Investors Sell Net $29.6B in U.S. Bonds in Q1, Highest Since Q2 2022

According to Japan's international balance of payments data released Wednesday, Japanese investors sold a net $29.6 billion in U.S. government bonds, agency debt, and municipal bonds combined in the three months through March 31, marking the largest quarterly outflow since Q2 2022.
