Jiangsu Power Grid Hits Record Peak Load of 157.59M kW on July 16, Suzhou Ranks First Among Chinese Cities

According to Jin10 Data, on July 16 at 11:15 AM, Jiangsu Province's power grid reached a peak electricity consumption of 157.59 million kilowatts, setting a new historical record. This marks the first load record update for Jiangsu's grid during the current five-year plan period and the 10th consecutive year of consumption exceeding 100 million kilowatts.

Suzhou's power grid achieved a peak load of 35.835 million kilowatts on the same day, maintaining the highest consumption level among China's prefecture-level cities. The surge in demand was driven by ongoing high-temperature weather affecting the region.
