According to Korbit Research Center, on July 16, the firm released a report titled "Perpetual Futures: Beyond Crypto Assets to RWA," analyzing how perpetual futures markets are expanding into real-world assets (RWA).
As of July 2, Hyperliquid's RWA perpetual futures open interest reached approximately $2.9 billion, surpassing the same exchange's Bitcoin perpetual futures open interest of around $2.1 billion. The report analyzed the pricing reliability of various RWA perpetuals through public data verification, finding that assets with established reference price infrastructure—such as S&P 500 futures (correlation coefficient 0.98) and SK Hynix futures (correlation coefficient 0.97–0.99)—demonstrated high price integrity.
