Korean Won Weakens to 1,468.50 per Dollar on July 27, Up 1.90 Amid Foreign Selling

According to Yonhap Infomax, the Korean won weakened against the US dollar to 1,468.50 KRW per dollar on July 27, up 1.90 from the previous close of 1,466.60. The depreciation was driven by import settlement demand at lower price levels and foreign investor equity selling, which accounted for 2.8 trillion won in net outflows from the Korean stock market.
