According to Korea Exchange, KOSDAQ's daily trading volume fell to 4.79 trillion won on July 20, marking the lowest level since August 28, 2025. The KOSDAQ index dropped 5.33% to close at 749.64.
As market funds concentrate in large-cap stocks, over 350 KOSDAQ-listed companies now face delisting risk. Companies with market capitalization below 20 billion won numbered 221, while 149 traded below 1,000 won per share. Since this month, stricter delisting criteria mean firms meeting either threshold may be designated as under-review stocks after 30 consecutive trading days, potentially leading to immediate delisting.
