MacOS Malware Emerges Targeting Crypto Users, Hijacks Telegram and Steals Data From 5 Major Wallets

According to FinanceFeeds, security researchers have discovered a macOS information-stealing malware targeting crypto users that hijacks Telegram Desktop sessions and steals wallet credentials. The malware affects five major wallet applications: Exodus, Atomic, Electrum, Wasabi, and Monero. Security experts recommend users on potentially compromised devices terminate all active Telegram sessions, reset two-factor authentication and desktop passwords, avoid entering recovery phrases or private keys on affected systems, and migrate assets to newly generated wallets.
