Most Banks Forecast June U.S. CPI to Fall 0.2% MoM; Core CPI Seen Flat at 0.2%

According to Jin10, ahead of June CPI data release, most major financial institutions forecast a month-over-month decline of 0.2% for U.S. CPI, contrasting with the previous reading of +0.5% and market expectations of -0.1%.

For core CPI month-over-month, the consensus among leading banks including Citibank, JPMorgan, and Morgan Stanley points to a reading of +0.2%, in line with the prior month and consensus forecast.
