According to The Block, Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik predicted on July 28 that artificial intelligence trading agents would surpass human traders within approximately two years. The on-chain data platform is transitioning from a pure analytics tool to direct trading functionality, repositioning around deploying agents to trade any asset on-chain. The feature has accumulated over $500 million in trading volume to date.

Among Nansen's top 15 perpetual contract trades, approximately 10 involve non-crypto assets including SpaceX, the S&P 500 index, gold, and crude oil. The platform plans to roll out higher-autonomy trading agents after completing backtesting and paper trading, aiming to reduce inference costs and mitigate poisoned input risks.
