Nvidia Invests $1B in Naver, Securing 4.5% Stake as Stock Surges 8.4%

According to Seoul Economic, Nvidia invested $1 billion in Naver yesterday (July 27), acquiring a 4.5% stake through a third-party capital increase offering. Naver shares surged 8.43% to 225,000 Korean won on the news.

The investment is part of a $14.6 billion AI Factory project involving Naver, Nvidia, and global alternative investment firm Brookfield. Nvidia will provide GPU technology and strategic investment, while Brookfield will support approximately $9 billion in computing infrastructure and data center construction through project financing.
