According to the Digital RMB Operations and Management Center, the 2026 'Gold Cipher Cup' Cryptography Application and Technology Innovation Competition officially opened registration on July 10, with contests scheduled from July to December in Suzhou. The competition, jointly hosted by the Digital Currency Research Institute of the People's Bank of China and Tsinghua University's Center for Cryptography Theory and Technology, targets cryptographic professionals nationwide across two professional tracks covering fundamental research, practical applications, and industry scenarios.
