Samsung Electro-Mechanics Signs $204M AI Server Capacitor Deal on July 23

According to The Korea Herald, Samsung Electro-Mechanics signed a 300 billion won ($204 million) contract on July 23 to supply multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) for AI servers throughout 2027. This marks the South Korean component maker's second major AI server MLCC order in less than a month, bringing its disclosed 2027 supply contracts to a combined 750 billion won ($510 million) following a 450 billion won deal announced on June 30.
