Samsung to Invest 200 Billion Won in HVAC Factory at Gwangju Plant

According to Odaily, Samsung Electronics recently filed a construction permit application for a new HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) manufacturing facility at its Gwangju plant in South Korea. The project, valued at approximately 200 billion won (roughly $154 million), aims to expand the company's B2B central air conditioning operations and strengthen cooling equipment capacity for AI data centers.
