ShinWon Deploys Blockchain-AI Platform for Supply Chain Traceability to Meet EU Regulations

According to ShinWon, the South Korean apparel manufacturer recently deployed a blockchain-powered platform integrated with artificial intelligence to enhance supply chain traceability and strengthen transparency in response to evolving global regulations including the European Union's Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and Digital Product Passports (DPPs). The platform, which combines blockchain technology with AI-driven analytics, automatically collects, analyzes, and validates transaction records at each production stage, while requiring suppliers to submit sourcing plans before manufacturing orders begin. The system enables ShinWon to verify raw material origins, monitor fabric processing locations, and identify potential supply chain risks early. CEO JJ Park stated that supply chain traceability has become essential for building trust among suppliers, manufacturers, and international brands, and the company intends to continue expanding visibility toward fully traceable raw materials across its operations.
