South Korea's COFIX Mortgage Rate Index Hits 3.05% in June, Up 15bp in Three Consecutive Months

According to Yonhap Infomax citing the Bank Association of Korea, South Korea's mortgage lending rate index COFIX (Cost of Funds Index) hit 3.05% in June, up 15 basis points from May's 2.90% and marking three consecutive months of increases. KB Kookmin Bank raised its six-month mortgage lending rates by 15 basis points to 4.17–5.57% effective July 16.
