According to a recent interview, Michael Saylor of Strategy said the company sold 32 Bitcoin while simultaneously purchasing 175,000 BTC this year. Saylor emphasized the sale represents just two basis points (0.02 percent) of the total position, describing it as insignificant. The company operates as a treasury entity that issues STRC preferred securities and uses proceeds to accumulate Bitcoin. Saylor argued that maintaining confidence among credit and equity investors—by servicing dividend obligations and supporting stock price—is essential to funding larger Bitcoin acquisitions. Without investor confidence, he stated, the company would not be able to buy Bitcoin at all.
