TOTO, Nitto Denko, Ajinomoto Surge 78%, 63%, 61% in FY2026 as Semiconductor Demand Drives Growth

According to CNBC, three Japanese companies—TOTO, Nitto Denko, and Ajinomoto—saw their stock prices surge by 78%, 63%, and 61% respectively in fiscal year 2026, driven by rapid growth in semiconductor-related operations. TOTO, known for high-end bidet toilet seats, manufactures ceramic electrostatic chucks for semiconductor equipment, with its advanced ceramics division reporting a 34% revenue increase and 42% operating profit growth. Nitto Denko's specialty glass fiber material T-glass, used in AI server substrate circuit boards, drove a 20.4% revenue rise and 39.7% operating profit increase in its electronic materials division. Ajinomoto's semiconductor packaging insulation film ABF, developed from byproducts of MSG production, helped its healthcare and other division post a 45.1% operating profit surge, accounting for over one-third of the company's total profits.
