According to Reuters analysis of Trump's financial disclosures filed with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, President Trump earned over $1.4 billion from cryptocurrency projects last year, including World Liberty Financial and Trump meme coins. The disclosure revealed that Trump's stock and bond portfolio grew substantially as crypto gains were reinvested: holdings in traditional financial instruments reached $703 million to $2.6 billion by end of 2025, compared to $225 million to $608 million at end of 2024, representing at least a threefold increase. Digital asset experts reviewing the filings noted Trump's strategy appears focused on converting crypto holdings into traditional assets rather than holding digital currencies as long-term wealth storage.
