Two Dissenting Votes Expected at Upcoming Fed Meeting, With Possibility of Third

According to prediction markets Kalshi and Polymarket, the U.S. Federal Reserve's upcoming meeting is expected to feature at least two dissenting votes against maintaining rates, likely from hawkish policymakers Hammarck and Logan. Kalshi data shows both officials have around 58% probability of casting opposing votes. Multiple institutions including JPMorgan predict the possibility of a third dissenting vote, potentially from Kashkari, with scenarios ranging from 2 to 4 total dissents. Polymarket indicates a 40% probability of exactly two dissenting votes, 21% for one, and 13% for three or more.
