Two U.S. Lawmakers Disclose SpaceX Stock Purchases Days After $2 Trillion IPO

Two members of Congress disclosed SpaceX stock purchases in mid-June following the company's initial public offering on June 12, according to House financial disclosure documents reviewed by CNBC. Rep. Dan Meuser (R-Pa.) disclosed that his dependent child purchased between $15,001 and $50,000 of SpaceX stock on June 15, while Rep. Gil Cisneros (D-Calif.) disclosed a purchase of between $1,001 and $15,000 on June 18. SpaceX, Elon Musk's aerospace company, went public on June 12 with a market capitalization exceeding $2 trillion, raising approximately $75 billion in the largest IPO on record.
