According to CCTV News, Typhoon Bavi, the 9th typhoon this year, was centered about 1,650 kilometers southeast of Keelung, Taiwan on the morning of July 8, moving westward at speeds of 20–25 kilometers per hour. The typhoon is expected to make landfall in southeast China, with the exact timing and location remaining to be confirmed.
