According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, early on July 6, Ukrainian forces struck two Russian oil refineries—the Yaroslavl refinery in Yaroslavl Oblast and the Novatesk-Ust-Luga refinery in Leningrad Oblast—triggering explosions at both facilities. The Ukrainian unmanned systems commander Robert Blavudin reported on the same day that Ukrainian drone forces hit 47 military targets in Russian rear areas, including two Russian shadow fleet tankers transporting fuel to Crimea in the Sea of Azov.
