U.S. 10-Year Treasury Yield Falls to 4.532% on July 10 Amid U.S.-Iran Tensions

According to Yonhap Infomax, the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield fell to 4.532% on July 10 (8:15 AM ET), down 0.70bp from the previous trading day's close. The 2-year Treasury yield declined 0.20bp to 4.162%, while the 30-year yield fell 0.10bp to 5.052%. The 10-year and 2-year yield spread narrowed to 37.0bp from 37.5bp.

The bond market decline coincided with Qatar's mediation efforts to de-escalate U.S.-Iran military tensions, according to New York Times reporting. The two nations resumed armed clashes this week, with the U.S. conducting major strikes on Iranian military installations.
