U.S. Deploys Additional Forces, 150+ Medical Personnel to Middle East Over Past Week Amid Iran Tensions

According to the Wall Street Journal, the U.S. has begun deploying additional troops, medical personnel, and military equipment to the Middle East over the past week to provide military options in response to potential Iran conflict escalation. Special operations forces have been deployed from domestic bases, with multiple fighter squadrons positioned across the region and bombers on high alert.

Over the past few days, more than 150 medical personnel arrived at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, the primary facility for treating wounded U.S. military personnel from Middle East operations.
