According to BlockBeats, on July 11, the Trump administration announced plans to ease export restrictions on the UAE, clearing the way for advanced technologies including commercial satellites and semiconductors for artificial intelligence. The U.S. Commerce Department stated in an upcoming notification that the UAE now qualifies for looser treatment under U.S. export control regulations.

The policy shift will enable UAE-based enterprises to proceed with purchasing advanced AI chips from Nvidia, AMD, and Cerebras Systems as planned, per an agreement reached over a year ago to supply thousands of processors to state-backed tech company G42 for regional AI data centers.
