According to onchain analytics platform Arkham Intelligence, U.S. government-linked wallets transferred approximately $288 million worth of bitcoin and ether to Coinbase Prime on Monday. The transfers included roughly 3,800.5 BTC and 30,007 ETH across multiple transactions. The assets originated from law enforcement seizures, including some linked to high-profile cases such as the conviction of Ryan Farace for dark web drug-related activities and Brian Krewson, who allegedly laundered $54 million in cryptocurrency proceeds tied to narcotics trafficking. Some assets were also tied to the defunct unlicensed exchange BTC-e, which processed billions in illicit funds before its 2017 shutdown.
