U.S. Sector ETFs Fall on Monday, Biotech Down 1.70%, Energy Gains 0.55%

On Monday (July 20), most U.S. sector ETFs declined. Biotech ETF fell 1.70%, while healthcare, banking, and regional bank ETFs dropped up to 1.14%. Tech and semiconductor ETFs posted modest gains of 0.29% and 0.34% respectively, with energy ETF up 0.49%. Among the S&P 500's eleven sectors, healthcare fell 1.15%, materials, industrials, real estate, and financials declined up to 0.94%, while technology rose 0.1%, energy gained 0.55%, and telecommunications jumped 0.74%.
