U.S. Space Tech ETFs Plunge 45% in June as China Semiconductor Funds Surge

According to Glide Research's June monthly report released on July 6, U.S. space tech ETFs that ranked first in May plunged 45.24% to last place, while Chinese semiconductor funds emerged as the new market leaders. TIGER China Semiconductor FACTSET rose 22.69% and KODEX China AI Semiconductor TOP10 gained 21.94%, marking a shift in semiconductor investment focus from the U.S. to China. The total number of retirement fund ETFs reached 1,039 by late June. Notably, active ETFs demonstrated stronger downside protection compared to passive funds during the market correction, with overseas bond ETFs posting the highest returns while commodity ETFs recorded the worst performance.
