World Mobile Chain is a Layer 3 blockchain network designed for communication infrastructure, built on Base and compatible with the EVM Smart Contract environment. EarthNode is the core validation node in the World Mobile Chain network. It primarily handles identity verification, on-chain trade processing, network coordination, and communication data settlement. As a key component of the decentralized communication infrastructure, EarthNode not only performs blockchain validation but also connects users, AirNodes, and the on-chain economic system within the communication network.

World Mobile Chain and Helium are both communication-oriented DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) projects driven by blockchain-based incentive mechanisms. However, they differ significantly in terms of network objectives, communication methods, and ecosystem positioning. Helium leans more toward IoT and wireless hotspot networks, relying on community-deployed Hotspots to deliver low-power device connectivity. In contrast, World Mobile Chain emphasizes a full-fledged mobile communication infrastructure, featuring eSIM, identity authentication, on-chain communication settlement, and a decentralized carrier model.
