He believes that Musk owns 50% of the shares, so he has earned a net worth of $100 to $150 billion from government contracts.

Musk later responded by calling Bannon a “stupid liar,” stating that SpaceX’s revenue this year will reach $15.5 billion, while NASA only has $1.1 billion. In this portion of NASA’s revenue, SpaceX transports all astronauts to the space station at about half the cost of Boeing, while Boeing has yet to complete a return of a single astronaut and had to be rescued by SpaceX. If we follow Bannon’s absurd logic, then just by having purchased a product from a certain company, we would automatically own that company.
