BlockBeats News, December 19 — Aptos announced the introduction of an improvement proposal, AIP-137, which plans to support quantum-resistant digital signature schemes at the account level to address the long-term risks that quantum computing development may pose to existing cryptographic mechanisms. The scheme will be introduced as an optional feature, without affecting existing accounts.
