Information Technology Service Company Coforge(, with a scale of approximately 3.38 trillion KRW, acquires Encora), accelerating its entry into the next-generation AI technology market.

Coforge plans to leverage this acquisition to capitalize on Encora’s AI and technological capabilities headquartered in New Jersey, USA. Additionally, the platform ensures the stability of large-scale AI products through various governance features and offers a service model covering client technical infrastructure and productivity tool transformation. Furthermore, general services such as enterprise mortgage issuance and patient appointment scheduling, which are non-technical businesses, are also driving its growth.

Coforge CEO), Sudhir Singh(, stated, “The acquisition of Encora marks a turning point for Coforge in establishing technological advantages in the rapidly evolving AI-centric market,” and “This lays a decisive foundation for us to provide enterprise-customized AI solutions centered around digital infrastructure and data.”

Through this acquisition, Coforge’s North American subsidiary’s annual sales are expected to grow by 50%, reaching approximately $2.016 billion (about 2.9 trillion KRW), and will additionally gain 11 large clients of Encora with expenditures exceeding $10 million. It is reported that the combined entity’s EBIT) will reach around 19%.

The transaction is expected to be completed within about six months after regulatory approval. As part of the global technology service market’s strategy to strengthen AI capabilities for competitiveness, industry attention is focused on how much synergy can be achieved between the two parties.
