BlockBeats News, on February 27, Bitcoin co-founder Jimmy Wales posted on social media stating, “Those who believe Bitcoin will go to zero are likely mistaken. Its design is robust enough that, unless an unforeseen cryptographic collapse or an unexpected 51% attack occurs, it will continue to exist (even if these happen, I believe forks can help it persist).”
However, Bitcoin might fall to a price level only suitable for enthusiasts to play with. Since it has completely failed as a currency or store of value, it cannot become the dominant currency in the future. Therefore, I suggest setting a 2050 price target of less than $10,000 in present value terms, and it could be far below that level.
