Both Hurd and Perry support the FIT21 bill, which has bipartisan support in the House of Representatives and is awaiting a vote in the Senate. Both candidates are listed as ‘strong supporters’ by the ‘Stand With Crypto’ political initiative. Although the Republican Party controls the White House and the Senate, the majority party in the House of Representatives has not yet been determined.
