Semler Scientific Reports Half-Year BTC Yield of 37.3%, Acquires Additional 215 Bitcoin

Semler Scientific has announced an impressive half-year bitcoin (BTC) yield of 37.3%. According to an announcement on Monday, Semler achieved this yield between July 1 to Nov. 15 2024.

Earlier in Q2 2024, Semler officially adopted its bitcoin treasury strategy and this significant achievement underscores the company’s strategic investment in cryptocurrency alongside its commitment to maximizing shareholder value.

BTC Yield is a key performance indicator (KPI) that Semler Scientific employs to uate the effectiveness of its strategy for purchasing bitcoin in a way that benefits stockholders and helps investors better understand the company’s decision to finance the purchase of bitcoin.

In addition to the strong yield, Semler Scientific further strengthened its bitcoin holdings by acquiring an additional 215 BTC. This acquisition brought the company’s total bitcoin holdings to 1,273 BTC.

With fees and expenses included, Semler Scientific has purchased 1,273 bitcoin at a total purchase price of $88.7 million and an average buying price of $69,682 per bitcoin as of Nov. 15, 2024.
