BlockBeatsの報道によると、3月5日、Hyperinsightの監視によると、今日1時にビットコイン（BTC）が一時的に7万4千ドルを超えて上昇し、Hyperliquidプラットフォーム上で複数の空売り巨鯨が連続して清算された。昨日、BTCの空売りポジションをロールオーバーした巨鯨アドレス（0xebe）は、2回の大規模清算に遭遇し、合計で214枚のBTC（約1570万ドル）が清算された。その中で最大の清算規模は約171枚（約1260万ドル）で、全ネットワークで最大の単一爆損となった。
また、0xe42で始まる巨鯨は過去11時間で9回のBTC空売り清算を受け、約992万ドルに相当する。0x1fdで始まる巨鯨も271万ドル規模の清算を受けている。現在、これらの3者は清算後も高いレバレッジで空売りポジションを再び開いている。
