Anthropic Survey: Half of Claude Users Say AI Handles Over 50% of Their Work

According to Anthropic's latest survey of approximately 9,700 users, about half of Claude users report that AI currently handles over 50% of their workload. The survey found that 33% of respondents believe Claude can complete 30% to 60% of tasks, while 14% estimate the share at 60% to 90%, and 4% say the AI can independently complete nearly all their work.

In practical applications, Claude excels in content creation: 82% of users employ it for database queries, 81% for blog or article writing, and 80% for marketing copy. Notably, younger workers delegate the highest proportion of tasks to AI but express the strongest anxiety about job displacement, while heavy Claude users demonstrate greater optimism about their career prospects. Looking ahead, 26% of respondents expect AI to take over most of their work within the next 12 months.
