China's Stock Indices Rise Sharply on July 21; ChiNext Up 7.05%, Sci-Tech 50 Up 10.73%

According to Jin10 data, as of July 21 (Tuesday), Chinese stock indices posted strong gains. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.79% to close at 3,864.37 points, the Shenzhen Component Index surged 4.81% to 14,264.29 points, and the ChiNext Index climbed 7.05% to 3,685.97 points. The Sci-Tech 50 Index led with a 10.73% gain, closing at 1,903.16 points. Meanwhile, the Hang Seng Index fell 0.04% to 25,132.29 points, while the Hang Seng Tech Index rose 1.32%.

European markets also advanced on July 21, with the DAX 30 up 0.61%, FTSE 100 up 0.55%, CAC 40 up 0.28%, and Stoxx 50 up 0.90%. In the U.S., major indices closed higher: the Dow Jones rose 0.74% to 52,224.82 points, the S&P 500 gained 0.89% to 7,509.19 points, and the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.29% to 25,837.21 points.
