Federal Reserve Has 74.9% Probability of Holding Rates in July, CME FedWatch Shows

According to CME FedWatch, the Federal Reserve has a 74.9% probability of maintaining interest rates at the July meeting on July 22, with a 25.1% probability of a 25-basis-point rate hike. For the September meeting, the Fed has a 28.9% probability of holding rates steady, a 55.7% probability of a 25-basis-point hike, and a 15.4% probability of a 50-basis-point increase.
