Global Crypto Liquidations Hit $471M in 24 Hours; BTC, ETH Account for $340M

According to Coinglass data shared by ChainCatcher, $471 million in crypto positions were liquidated over the past 24 hours, with long liquidations reaching $265 million and short liquidations $206 million.

Bitcoin accounted for $165.34 million in liquidations ($88.78M longs, $74.66M shorts), while Ethereum saw $163.3 million liquidated ($103M longs, $62.43M shorts). In total, 89,591 traders were liquidated, with the largest single liquidation occurring on HTX's ETH-USDT pair at $11.63 million.
