According to Zhitong Finance, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index ADR rose on Tuesday, closing at 23,123.32 points, up 1.06% or 242.30 points from Hong Kong's close. U.S. equities' major indices also advanced during the session.

Among large-cap blue-chip stocks, HSBC Holdings climbed 0.84% to 149.146 Hong Kong dollars, while Tencent Holdings rose 0.76% to 433.055 Hong Kong dollars.
