Lockheed Martin Beats Q2 Sales Forecast at $20.06B, Raises Full-Year Guidance

Lockheed Martin reported second-quarter net sales of $20.06 billion, beating market expectations of $19.33 billion. The company raised its full-year sales guidance to $79.75-$81.75 billion from the prior forecast, above analyst expectations of $79.13 billion. The defense contractor also increased its full-year earnings guidance to $29.95-$30.65 per share. Lockheed Martin shares surged 7.5% in premarket trading following the earnings announcement.
